Packing stations with ERGO-Basic tables

To modernize its packing stations, Jacob Rohner AG chose height-adjustable packing tables from ERGO-line. ERGO-Basic enabled ergonomic workstations that integrate with existing workflows and boost efficiency.

Starting point and challenge

The existing work tables no longer met current requirements. Because ERGO-line had supplied a table previously, the collaboration resumed. After proposals and visualizations that were very well received by the client, implementation began.

Solution and outcome

In this project, the existing packing stations were largely retained and selectively expanded. Only the ERGO-Basic with hand-crank height adjustment was used. In addition, a low-noise roller conveyor with plastic rollers was integrated to make the processes even more efficient.

ERGO-Basic packing tables are a core part of Rohner’s logistics processes and are used for:

Receiving with ergonomic handling of incoming goods

Shipping preparation of products

Shipping with structured order processing

Order picking at modern, ergonomic workstations
